Terms of Service

1. Service Overview

ExtractAPI provides a web data extraction API that returns structured JSON from URLs submitted by customers. This service is provided on a subscription basis.

You may use ExtractAPI to extract publicly accessible data from websites. You are solely responsible for:

4. API Keys and Account

You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. Any activity under your key is your responsibility. You may not share your API key across different legal entities. API keys can be revoked at any time for violation of these terms.

5. Rate Limits and Fair Use

Each plan has a defined monthly request limit. Usage exceeding your plan limit will be blocked until the next billing period or until you upgrade. Excessive concurrent requests may be throttled to maintain service stability.

6. Data Accuracy and Availability

ExtractAPI extracts data as it appears in the source website at the time of the request. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of extracted data. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ExtractAPI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your API key will be deactivated. You may export your usage data before termination. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or service announcement. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.
